My story

Hi, I'm Nokhuthula Nyoni ((pronounced nock-tula), a Christian, wife, sister and Dietitian. I’ve spent much of my life learning the power of good food and holistic health, which has shaped the way I approach nutrition today. I was born and spent the first 11 years of my life on a farm in Zimbabwe. Those early years surrounded by nature, where everything from vegetables to fruits was homegrown, taught me the value of nutritious food and the hard work behind its cultivation. It’s something that’s stayed with me throughout my life, the idea that what we eat is not just fuel, but a vital part of our connection to the earth, our bodies and our wellbeing.

I moved to the UK at age 13 with family and I’ve called Cardiff, Wales home ever since. I always knew I wanted to work in healthcare to serve others. I started out in the world of dentistry as a Dental Nurse and worked in this field for 5 years. It was during this time that I came across a cancer Dietitian in my place of work, and it was truly a turning point for me after shadowing. I realised that my passion for health and wellness could be expressed further through food and nutrition, not just teeth. That spark grew into an insatiable desire to help people build solid, sustainable foundations for their health through nutrition, which led me to pursue a career in Human Nutrition and Dietetics.

With years of experience in the field and HCPC registered, I’ve worked in a variety of specialties and with many clients, each with their own unique needs and goals. My approach is holistic, I believe in nourishing the whole person. Nutrition isn’t just about what we eat; it’s about how we live, how we feel and how we thrive. My goal is to empower you to take control of your health, feel confident in your choices, and ultimately, live a life of wellness and vitality.

In my work, I emphasise balanced, realistic eating habits that can be maintained long-term. I want to help you build a positive relationship with food, one that supports your goals without the stress, overwhelm or restriction. It’s about finding what works for you and creating a path to health that is sustainable, enjoyable and truly transformative. I believe that everyone has the ability to thrive and my mission is to guide you on that journey, whether you're looking to manage a chronic condition or navigate a cancer diagnosis, improve your energy, manage weight or simply feel better in your body.

I’d love to work with you and together, we’ll create a plan that fits your unique needs.
